January 18, 2020 New crafting research perk. New unique item drop from factory bags. The countdown for combat will no longer show up in the back of monster. Santa has been removed from the game. Fixed a display bug where the game thought you had the gold star lamp when in fact you have the bronze one. Research potion now tradable. Shiny monster animation should no longer have a 0.5 - 1 second delay. January 10, 2020 (part 2) Fixed a bug where some players were unable to explore areas. January 10, 2020 New Potion. New exploring research perk. The screen where you navigate through exploring areas has been slighty changed. You may now search through exploring areas through the search screen. The shiny animation not showing on monsters has been fixed. The bug where people had castle 'locked' even though it was unlocked has been fixed. Clicking an area in the list will now remember it. Blood gem goblem added to profile. January 9, 2020 New unique drops from exploring the: desert, castle, factory. New farming research perk + indirect research perk upgrades? The shiny animation will now show over the monster instead of behind. Fixed a bug where a fraction of players could not use the chef. Hiscore profile now tracks and shows your blood moon ocean kills and more bosses. When crafting iron buckets, you now have a checkbox which allows your account to auto craft them after using them. The algorithm for finding fish has been improved, which means those who had a lot of blue fishing orbs will now experience faster login times and faster time machine. For your information, Opening daily chests one by one versus all at once has the same results in terms of mimics. (Requires mission 50 or higher btw) January 7, 2020 Fixed a bug where the countdown timer for combat sometimes did not show. It is now possible to reset the chef if the current recipes are too difficult. However the chef cooldown will be longer. 10 new missions with unique reward at mission 50. New monster. New enchantement. Santa clause is once again easier to find and the event has been extended. I went a little too hard this year. January 4, 2020 I am aware that the BM Ocean is using a ton of arrows and that a new source is needed. Santa clause will still be lurking different areas, and is now is twice as common in the northern fields, the event might also be extended. Disabling the blood moon with the ring while a serverwide bloodmoon is active now works. Soldier helemt defence bonuses have been fixed. (15 was suppose to be the horned version) Fixed a bug that where shiny mobs was not utilizing the green looting bag orbs correctly. There is now a 5 second timer before a fight actually starts, giving you time to react properly, damaging dealing spells cannot be used during this time. Browsing all items on the market now shows only 3 of each item for the best price. Horns are now tradable for both the trading post and player market. Blood bones and blood feathers tradable in trading post. There is now a warning when trying to sell gems, high level ores and bars. December 24, 2019 Casting thunderstrike with upgraded sandstorm active while wearing robes will continue to apply robe buffs even if you swtich back to other gear. Blood ocean released. Green looting bag orb giving multiple looting bags will now try to roll for a shiny chance for every bag instead of the first one only. (Does not work on monster loot bags.) Recoded the animation for combat hit splats - they should not stack on top of each other and the animation on mobile is much less laggy/delayed. December 13, 2019 Connecting to your account while already being logged in on another device will kick the account instead of going into a reconnecting battle/infinite loop. New quest - you can check the requirments to unlock it through your quest's book. New uniques. New ring. December 10, 2019 Reconnecting automatically should be smoother and can be cancelled. New options interface (the ... on the top right). Fixed overlapping of the navigation bar. Fixed the cemetery bosses and mobs not showing dropped as ticked when obtained. (Click on settings on the top right) (Under construction) December 7, 2019 Boss monsters already kill now count towards the drop tracker retroactively. I might also spend time going through items that are only dropped from mobs to tick those off aswell. Items that are only dropped from a single mob will also be retroactively ticked. Sadly, things like the scythe which is dropped from 2 monsters cannot be ticked as I do not know which one was killed for the weapon. Fixed the layout where the bottom navigational bar was hiding the monster drops screen. (Not player market) All previous accounts will continue to have access to the trading post, for free. Buffed machete - now yields way more fruits when upgraded. Changed rake (buff?) No longer finds more seeds but simply gives more leaves/mushrooms when upgrading. All tools have a new UI when clicked. Added notification when an item sells in the player market. Fixed combat UI bug where casting ghost scan on a monster would cause the monster sprite to move out of position. Fixed broken images when buying enchanted items from the market. December 3, 2019 (part 4) Combat UI changes (Still not perfect, work in progress): Combat should now be smoother on phones - but there still is room for improvement. The enemies HP bar will scroll with the combat screen, allowing smaller screens to see the enemies HP and hero spells without the need to scroll. Spells on monsters with indicators (such as reflect, thunderstrike) will also scroll with the screen. Smoother hitsplats. Still more work to come. The default value is now '1' instead of 'max' when adding an item to the player market. December 3, 2019 (part 3) Fixed major display issues after time machine being used. The 'ready' farming notification no longer popups up for half a second when the planter is active and is harvesting. December 3, 2019 Market PHASE 1 released: Items can now be posted on the market for tradable blood crystals. (This is just during phase 1, eventually items will be able to be sold for other items) Items have a minimum set value of bloodcrystals Expect lots of balance changes, which will include tons of buffs. November 27, 2019 A new package to purchase 2,000 Blood Crystals has been added at 16 USD. A new market is underway! This update will be released in parts starting next update. (This will allow players to post on a market place to display their items for sale. Transactions can also be done if seller is offline) Cooking raw chicken or raw blood chicken no longer counts towards total chicken kills. Hopefully fixed a bug where previous monsters were showing for 1 second before loading actual monster. Fixed a bug where the animation was still active after killing a blood ghost in the haunted mansion. It is now impossible to upgrade the lobster cage while it's in the water. November 21, 2019 New craftable. Looking up the info on an enemy using the combat book will now show the monster's stats. Animations on monsters have been added to fields, forest and caves. Ent also has a new graphical look. Fixed a bug where some players were unable to convert 10 gems to the next tier. Fixed a bug where clicking on lizard skin to craft it did nothing. Fixed a minor bug where fighting would show for a split second the last monster you fought. Clicking on a person's name in the hiscore list will bring you to their profile. The profile page has been updated to include desert blood moon monsters Fixed a few typos. November 20, 2019 (Part 2) Dead clicks have been fixed for spells and potions in combat. (Test results before fix: one dead click every 10 clicks when clicking 100 times a second, after: 0 dead clicks recorded after 20 min of clicking 100 times a second!) Desert blood looting ring released. Trying to use the reset fighting potion when 'resting' now has a clearer message. Bug fix: Super poison arrows are now used. November 20, 2019 Blood moon desert released. New boss. New cape. New magic spell. Equiping the trimmed version of the dark mage hood now counts towards the mission: "Equip a dark mage hood" Bronze keys (with gem sockets or not) now tradable. Ability to convert more than 1 gem at a time into its better tier. Opening crates now shows the number opened in the title on the dialogue. (Like loot bags/chests) Animation added when killing an enemy. Fixed a bug where players were unable to go to the sun without owning the mining perk to go to mars. November 15, 2019 Made a change to how clicking a potion or spell in combat functions, hopefully it will eliminate dead clicks that some people are having. The halloween event is over. Pumpkin seeds are no longer obtainable. The ice hawk group now counts towards the mission to kill an ice hawk. The three skeleton bosses now have a 1/3 chance of giving back bone parts. Ability to choose how many crates to open. Miner's crate has been buffed. (Scales with mining level and machineries owned) Autotick heal donor buff: You now have the ability to select which potion you wish to be used first. Infection from the zombie changes: Added warnings about the infection from the zombies when entering combat while infected. Added more information on the infection cure potion as most people thought it was a 'combat' potion, understandably. Changed the infection cure potion from orange to red, as orange is the combat category. Killing the zombie will no longer remove the infection. Clicking on the infection timer is now a shortcut to cure it with the potion. November 13, 2019 Backend work (Behind the scenes) The super rocket boosters make the returning trip even shorter. November 11, 2019 Changing your password will disable all current active presets. Thererfor they will have to be set again. Fixed a bug where getting a new type of log would not show up when clicking the oven unless refreshed. The "maxed" button for seaweed dish has been fixed. You now can see the total amount of coins to be earned before selling all statues. New craftable. New boss. November 7, 2019 (part 2) Fixed a bug where on occasion, clicking login presets would get you stuck on 'connecting...'. Total seed collection (by clicking on rake) now shows only seeds that have been obtained through the rake. Fixed a bug in firefox; navigating tabs now always scroll to top instead of bottom. Fixed a bug where the xp shown when finding an artifact was wrong. Drinking farming (e.g. fertilize potion) will now keep the popup open after used. Pickle Rick wanted more than 1000 keys, therefore the cap has been removed. Blood diamond now has an animation. November 7, 2019 The enchanted invisibility amulet/ring now shows the hit splat "Missed (e)" On the first hit instead of the second one, which will let you know that it has proked. Completely reworked the early game all the way from unlocking the first skill to the last. Early crafting items recipes changed. Combat is now accessed by purchasing a rusty sword from the shop. New tradable very early game cape (1 defence). Obtainable from doing the new Knight's quest. New early game tutorial to help new players. November 2, 2019 Fixed a bug where giant excavators would only take one charcoal when multiple giant excavators were on. Fixed a bug where the exploring map for the factory was not needed, so those who did not find it will have to find it to progress further. Navigating the exploring areas has now a shortcut for bloodmoon (if looting ring quest 2 is completed). You may now toggle on/off the potion timers based on which tab your on. (Click any potion timer in notifications area) Halloween, 2019 (part 2) Bronze keys now sellable to further remove cluttering of unwanted keys. Monsters in castle and above now drop treasure chests, like other areas. The super compost farming potion now has a lot more particles, allowing players to easily distinguish between the normal/super compost. (Might require cache refresh) Removed one scythe enchanter from the boss (bug, as it was there twice) Ability to select how many loot bags you wish to open. Ability to select how many chests you wish to open. The default value for selling sensitive items will default to 1 instead of your full stack (Leaves, Mushrooms, Gems etc) Fixed a bug where fertilizing a pumpkin seed patch would mess things up. Halloween, 2019 Bloodmoon Haunted Mansion released. New combat equipment. Scythe enchanter drop rate from reaper 2 in haunted woods reduced from 1/70 to 1/40. The idle furnace notification will now show the correct furnace instead of only the bronze one. Ability to sell treasure chest keys to the shop, mostly added to remove cluttering for unwanted keys. October 29, 2019 There is now an idle notification for your furnace. Shortcuts have been added when drinking farming related potions under crops. Tree root potions that are active now also show on the shovel A new animation released when furnace is on. October 29, 2019 Content: Having a gem in your brewing kit now reduces the cooldown for tree upgrade/downgrade potions. Bug fix: Fixed the new potion showing up for everyone even when not unlocked. (Display bug) Bug fix: Those who completed the engineering quest part one with left over tar will now have it removed from their account. Bug fix: Wearing the exploring speed ring now shows the timesave when navigating the exploring areas. QoL: You may now customize what you when you want to quick consume food. (Eat only starred fish, ignore chef recipe food etc) QoL: The bronze farming xp star potion now defaults to 1 when drinking. QoL: The interface when drinking a super compost potion now works similarly to the fertilize soil potion. QoL: Reflect will not be casted if already active. Ability to swtich presets in combat by pressing 1 - 6 on your keyboard. Blood moon ring: Applogies for the bad wording, the blood moon ring was only intended to turn off the blood moon. You must have reached the blood moon through exploring to toggle it on. Ice gloves prok now works in the ocean. (regular fire spell remains imune) Ice gloves prok now doubles its damage against hot enemies. October 3, 2019 Sorry for the lack of updates, currently working on a very large piece of content and its taking a lot of time. It's also far from done, so I decided to put it on pause and resume working on other stuff to give you at least 1 or 2 updates of content a week. Blood moon chicken, blood fire hawk and future blood ice hawk now give blood feathers AND more of their original feathers. Daily chests now contain fire/ice feathers. Fixed a bug where wearing both an invisibility ring and amulet (enchanted, or not, or both) did not stack. Having that combination now allows you to dodge 1/5 of attacks. However, having only one of the two invis amuelt/ring enchanted will only prok half the time. New permenant donor buff added which allows you to auto tick heal. (Toggleable) Blood northern fields coming tomorrow. One of these monsters will drop the enchantement for the super bow, and will require a new mechanic never seen to defeat. September 21, 2019 New unique: found in deep ocean loot bags. Searching for a player/viewing your profile is back online. Ability to drink a potion again by clicking on the notification. Those who have exploring perks level 5 or more on everyskill now see the max amount of perks available. Fixed a bug where the goblin gem quest requirement remained on screen even after being completed. Fixed a bug where buying from the gem goblin shop caused your total gem goblin kills to go up buy 1. September 20, 2019 Fixed a bug where only the skeleton in the caves were showing up. Blood volcano released with new drops. Changed mission from 'travel to the moon' to 'travel to space' A new unique item has been added to the gem goblin shop. There is a now an unlockable feature to have the ability to toggle on/off the blood moon. September 17, 2019 Added the lvl/xp indicator on every skill for consistency. Gem goblin shop open, with some new unique item/unlocks. Note: The prices that the goblin asks are random and can vary from a very good deal to a very bad one. Up to you to make the correct decisions. - Also prices might change in the future for balancing purposes. Boots of speed converted to exploring speed ring. Fixed a bug where shooting stars were 100% from magic trees instead of 1/20. Shiny magic trees give now 100% 1 shooting star. Fixed seaweed dish not using 100 green leaves. September 14, 2019 Still working on the new goblin shop, this one is complex due to randomness of the shop and scaling based on player levels. The upgraded charcoal foundry has been fixed. The bar refinery notification's image should be promethium if the user has crafted it. Blood monsters now count towards daily tasks. Changedthe way shiny items, monsters and trees are loaded. In the shiny animation, frame 1 now actually has shines in it, we will see if this works on firefox. Might need an image cache reset to see new shiny icon. Enchanted skeleton sword changes; now works on blood bones + now gives a multiplier of x2 bones applied after all other multipliers. September 13, 2019 Buffed bronze, iron silver and gold smelting xp rates. Added new game indicators in crafting screen such as xp bars and oil. The screen that congratulates you for getting a level in the mulitple of 10's has been switched to 100. Changed the requirement to unlock the exploring skill from 200 global level to 75. Lots of minor early game changes to speed things up. New quest. Fixed looting ring once again, apologies for all the problems. Fixed a problem with the mayor rating being bad despite having 4 cyan bars. Bone amulet now dropped from fire mage. New farming research perk. Blood monsters in caves released with new unique items. Bone amulet only works on regular bones now. However, the enchanted version works on all bones. Setpember 7, 2019 Fixed the looting ring. Super arrows now consumed. Reverted the brewing mechanism, the default has been set back to max. Trident helmet, blood stinger, offhand iron dagger and blood chicken tradable. Fixed a bug where crafting a steam boat did not use the 20k iron bars. Fixed the reward from mission 40. New item in community shop 7. (Quest guide reqs) September 5, 2019 All rings can now be stacked with their respective amulet. See special effects in the equipment tab. Special effects now work accordingly and is accurate based on what your are wearing. Stronger arrows released. Blood moon 'explorable'? New monsters. New weapons and armour. Capes released. Shiny magic trees now give 2 shooting stars instead of 1 if you hit the 1/20 drop rate (with default mayor status). Drinking potions now sets the input value to 1 by default. The chef may request cheese/honey as an ingredient. There is also a new source for these items. New server-wide magic orb in BC shop. Note that high level players can trigger this without the need of BC through exploring. Fixed a research perk where the 10% extra chance to get charcoal was not working. New research perk for exploring. September 2, 2019 Refer a friend system reworked. All bugs should be fixed. The gold tree is now upgradable with the potion. Having more than one crate can now all be opened at once. Fixed some mail still not opening. August 30, 2019 Seems like the shiny item's/tree's animation is buggy on firefox. Currently investigating. I've been getting a lot of requests about adding more BC options for hardcores as the missions make them have too much unusabe BC. Let me know if you have any ideas and I don't want it to be overpowered given the nature of HC. Fixed a bug where some mails were not loading. Ability to open multiple lamps at once. Blue spices are now only obtained from crystal leaves/striped crystal leaves. Yellow spices are now only from chef crates. You may now open all loot bags, geodes and chests if you have more than 1. (Instead of 5) New missions. Regular rocket boosters now are 183% faster for mars. Ancient ore from exacators is a little more common. New community center. New tree. August 28, 2019 (part 3) I know these updates arn't too exicted for your guys, but I really want to get rid of all the annoying login problems. You now have the ability to use presets on multiple devices, without them interfering with each other. Fixed a bug where multiple presets were being added. Note that due to these changes, all presets have to be remade, so deleting them is necessary. August 28, 2019 (part 2) 90% of the new login sytem is deployed. (Presets) The other 10% consists of auto reconnecting which is currently in testing. August 28, 2019 Decided to remove advertisements. They are just annoying and that last thing I want to do is to annoy my player base. Despite it making a bit of money, it's just not worth it. Added a message the dev/owner system for paying accounts. August 20, 2019 (part 2) Fighting a gem goblin and killing it resets your combat, allowing you to fight again. Museum can now be further upgraded. Trident, super poison trident, super poison arrows, super poison spear, oxygen amulet/ring, new area loot bags/statues now tradable. Pineapples tradables. Heal steal no longer triggers if hitting a zero. The piranhas from the deep ocean now drop raw piranhas as an extra energy source. New craftable. August 20, 2019 You may now see the blood diamond effect on tools if it's socketed with a blood diamond. Reduced the watering filter in the mayor buildings from 50k to 20k bronze bars. Fixed a bug where players were unable to navigate to the pirate after purchasing empty orbs. Fixed a bug where drinking multiple potions did not count towards the next potion to unlock correctly. Every diamond tool now has a unique description informing the player the extra effect that the blood diamond socket deos. It is now possible to use the upgrade tree potion on a tree that is in its growing state. Ability to sell to the shop bear fur, snakeskin, lizard skin etc. This should help clear up space. Promethium keys tradable. August 9, 2019 (part 2) Haunted woods statues tradable. All shiny loot bags tradable. Your exploring notification is now hidden when your hero is 'resting' after a boss fight. Fixes a bug where sometimes logging in caused your skill menu to not load. Fixed a bug where images sometimes woud not load. The light bulb now works on the curious ghost in the haunted woods, appologies for such a late fix. New quest, unfortantly it is triggered by trading 5 recipes with the chef which wasn't tracked previously. See your chef in the cooking tab to see ther counter. New cooking research perk. Currently traveling this weekend, I have my laptop with me if ever we have server problems. August 8, 2019 Server 2 has now been shut down and is on standby incase server 1 crashes. August 7, 2019 (part 3) THIS UPDATE IS ONLY APPLIED TO SERVER 1: Enchanted skeleton sword tradable. Deploying new communcations layer for the server 1, expect a couple of server restarts during this process within the next couple of hours. If succesful, server 2 will be disabled and everyone will play on the same server as we can hold over 1000 players easily. Images are no longer pulled from the server if a player is not in view of it - reducing bandwidth. Fixed a bug where for some players , killing the skeleton gaurdian did not give the loot. Changed the mission from "Equip a ghost scan ring" to "Equip a ghost scan amulet". While searching for an item to trade, combat potions are unhidden even if you unlocked the perk. Trading post offers list removed as it was underused and too complicated. Content updates are now resumed! July 26, 2019 Combat potions are now hidden if they are unlocked forever. Click the 'very high wind' notification is now a shortcut which will bring up the sail boat dialogue. New quest. June 23, 2019 (part 2) Fixed a bug where the 'life steal combat potion' icon would stay stuck in combat. Completely reworked the delay mechanism for monster charges while stunned. Whether a monster is charging to attack or heal, casting freeze or paralyze will delay the animation and delay the monster's attack/heal correctly. Dungeon: To give one example for the change above, casting freeze/paralyze will delay the skeleton monks from healing, even if they already started to charge. Casting freeze/paralyze before they start to charge will also delay them from STARTING to charge. By the way, the skeleton monks start the heal charge at 60 hp or below and will continue to do so over and over. Factory: The robot wheelie is no longer able to turn on his lightbulb when stunned or frozen. Hint: This is not the best strategy, it is better to cast stun or freeze when the light on his head flashes to interrupt it instantly. On your profile page, areas that were not visited in exploring will no longer be shown as it cluttered the page. July 23, 2019 Ability to add one type of mineral to your necklace. This is done by simply clicking on any minerals. Fruit potion, shooting star and plasma tradable. Fixed a visual bug where infected combat status would remain on screen even when not infected. The treasure map to eat a shrimp now works for shrimps with bronze/silver or gold star bonus. Statues from factory now tradable. Fighting in combat will now hide the notifications on the top. June 20, 2019 Ability to become mayor (batch 1): Your mayor rating will influence how your RNG is calculated. A higher mayor rating means better RNG. June 2, 2019 Message from Smitty: After doing a bit of work with my numbers, if we reach 390 unique total users online on average (see https://dhm.idle-pixel.com/data.php for the numbers) We will be able to introduce a new intermidiate server that could offer multiple advantages: *A new trading market, similarly to DH2; trading with others would be greatly simplified. A player could sell an item and post it on a market. Once it's purchased, they can then go to the collection box and collect the items or coins it was sold for. Items could even be sold if the player went offline, and multiple posts could be submitted on the market. The trading post we know today would not be removed. *The trading post we know today: Allow players to trade with each other regardless on what server their on. (Server 1 can trade with Server 2 etc) *Events would be syncronized between all servers. No more switching from server 1 to server 2 to participate in an event. *Very high wind would also be syncronized between all servers. *Wells could also be syncronized between servers, if wanted by the players. The red desert gaurdian in the desert now charges at a random interval of 1/20 intead of 1/15. The fire spell scroll has now a drop rate of 1/2 instead of 1/3. This is because I want to release strong weapons in the future with very high attack/defence bonuses which would eventually give 80% reductions, which is just too OP.
